The Hive Online

Can I use my tablet or mobile phone?

Unfortunately our online virtual office will not work on your mobile device or tablet, we advise that you use a laptop or computer.

Do I have to have my own laptop/computer or can I share with someone else?

For our online experience, we do recommend that each audience member has their own laptop and headphones. The show includes binaural sound, which can only be experienced fully through your own set of headphones. If this isn't possible, of course a couple of you can all sit around a laptop... you just won't get the full Hive experience.

Why do you recommend using a Chrome or a Firefox browser?

Our online virtual office has been coded in such a way, that it only works best on Chrome or Firefox. In another browser you may miss certain features, or get stuck inside the experience...

Do I have to download Zoom?

Yes you do to experience the live elements of our show. However, once you have downloaded Zoom, you do not have to create an account to join the show, just enter the Meeting ID and Passcode sent to you prior the show.

Will I be seen/heard on Zoom?

The Hive is a participatory performance, so we would love to be able to see and hear you. However, we understand that this isn't for everyone, so your are welcome to mute your microphones and turn off your cameras at any point.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Absolutely! There is a pandemic going on, and your safety is our utmost priority. 

Will it be socially distanced?

Yes, the show will be adhering to all government health and safety guidelines.
